We finally decided on freestanding bookcases this past weekend when they went on sale. We purchased 3 white units so they would blend into the walls better. I will probably add some molding to these to give them an appearance of built-ins.

A Needed Change
Months ago my DH suggested I take some of the books out of my craft room to make more space. So at that time I boxed up a lot of my books and stored them in another room. We had been discussing whether to build built-ins or freestanding bookcases for awhile as my books were still packed away.
We finally decided on freestanding bookcases this past weekend when they went on sale. We purchased 3 white units so they would blend into the walls better. I will probably add some molding to these to give them an appearance of built-ins.
I still have empty spaces to fill with either more books,photos, or knick-knacks.
